Digital Management Chosen to Maintain Website for Maritime Administration
Bethesda, MD—April 1, 2005—Digital Management, Inc. (www.digitalmanagement.com), the secure e-government solutions company, announced today that the Department of Transportation's (DoT) Maritime Administration (MARAD) has awarded it a multi-year contract to provide ongoing support services to maintain the Marine Transportation System National Advisory Council (MTSNAC) website.
The MTSNAC website provides a forum for information and collaboration among all parties interested in issues affecting the Marine Transportation System. A public resource, the MTSNAC website must be regularly updated and maintained with new content, bug fixes, backups, data, and functionality. Under this new contract, DMI will maintain the MTSNAC website and associated resources in a proactive, consistent, compliant, and responsive manner to assure that the MTSNAC website remains operational, current, accurate, and optimally configured to best serve the needs of the Secretary of Transportation, MARAD, MTSNAC, the public, and the site's contributors.
Digital Management also maintains the DoT Federal Railroad Administration's (FRA) Railroad Safety Advisory Council (RSAC) website. "There is a great deal of similarity between the RSAC and MTSNAC websites, in the services they provide for their respective communities and in the competencies required to maintain them," notes company president, Jay Sunny Bajaj.
