Department of Transportation Selects Digital Management to Support EA and CPIC

Bethesda, Maryland, September 29, 2005—Digital Management, Inc. (www.digitalmanagement.com), the secure e-government solutions company, announced today that it has been selected by the Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of the Chief Information Officer to provide program management and technical support services for the agency's Enterprise Architecture and Capital Planning & Investment Control programs.

This comprehensive effort will integrate IT strategic planning, governance, and investment management under a comprehensive Enterprise Architecture for the agency's portfolio of 57 major assets valued at over $2.7B. Digital Management will provide expert guidance and support for agency management, assess current operational support in an enterprise environment, and provide recommendations for cost reductions and operating efficiencies to support DOT's ongoing IT Consolidation effort.

Digital Management President Jay Sunny Bajaj sees the project as a natural extension of the company's core competencies. "DOT clearly recognizes the critical dependencies among information technology, finance, and business strategy. Tremendous cost savings and efficiencies can be realized when an agency takes a value management approach."

With a total value of nearly $5.7 million, Digital Management begins work on the 5-year contract on October 3, 2005.
