Debra Stouffer joins Digital Management as Sr. Vice President of Business Development
Bethesda, Maryland, October 18, 2005—Digital Management, Inc. (www.digitalmanagement.com), the secure e-government solutions company, announced today that it has named Debra Stouffer to lead its Business Development efforts. Ms. Stouffer joins Digital Management after a very successful 2-year engagement with BAE Systems, Government Enterprise Solutions as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing.
Ms. Stouffer brings extensive executive leadership experience to Digital Management. During her 30-year Federal tenure, Ms. Stouffer held executive positions within the US Department of Agriculture, U.S. Information Agency, U.S. Department of Treasury, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. More recently, Ms. Stouffer served as Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Deputy Chief Information Officer Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Program Manager for the Office of Management and Budget's Federal Enterprise Architecture. Ms. Stouffer is a past President and current Director of the Association for Federal Information Resources Management, a past Co-Chair of the Best Practices Committee, the Architecture and Infrastructure Committee, the Capital Planning and Investment Management Committee, and an Executive Board Member for the Federal CIO Council.
Ms. Stouffer joins Digital Management during a time of government transformation. "The Government continues to leverage technology to advance business transformation and demonstrate real mission results," notes Doug Keach, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. "Since 9/11, there has been a sense of urgency to improve the government's ability to share information. We are now at a watershed. Much of the foundation is built, but the challenge is accelerating progress to obtain real mission oriented results. Ms. Stouffer will help steer Digital Management's government services in this area."
"Debra's clarity of vision is truly impressive," observed company President Jay Sunny Bajaj. "Her many years of federal service give her a pragmatic understanding of not just 'what' Government needs to transform, but 'how' to make it happen. As Senior Vice President of Business Development, Debra will lead Digital Management's services development efforts, aligning the skills, talents, and experience of our consultants to serve the clear and present needs of Federal agencies as they align strategy, enterprise architecture, IT investment management, and systems development, operations, and maintenance into an integrated enterprise discipline. We are very pleased to have her."
Ms. Stouffer is equally pleased with her new charge. "I have a passion for building programs from the ground up. I love start ups, and have enjoyed working in start-up environments for many years, both in the government and the private sector. I find both enjoyment and fulfillment bringing people together, facilitating the sharing of ideas, and implementing solutions for the government. Small, agile, and peopled by talented, highly-skilled technical consultants, Digital Management offers the type of exciting work environment that yields results. It is a young, growing organization with great promise. I'm honored to be a part of the senior management team and to have the opportunity to contribute to the company's success."
