Digital Management Extends its Longest Running Contract to Over Seven Years
Bethesda, MD—October 6, 2008—Digital Management, Inc. (www.digitalmanagement.com), announced today that it has been selected to provide continuing operations and maintenance support for the Accounting For Pay System (AFPS) for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Program Support Center (PSC), Division of Financial Operations (DFO), Financial Management Service (FMS). Digital Management has been supporting DHHS and the AFPS project continuously since May, 2004, so this three-year task order (one base year plus two option years) affirms DHHS as one of the company's most supportive clients and establishes AFPS as the company's longest running continuous project, at more than seven years.
AFPS provides an interface to DHHS payroll accounting that tracks personnel costs for disbursements, expenditures, obligations and accruals. This interface enables accounting transactions and expenditure control reports to help meet accounting requirements and conduct payroll reconciliation.
Under this task order, Digital Management will continue AFPS lifecycle system support, providing services essential to ensuring the operational success of current and future AFPS capabilities. Digital Management will provide production support services, system modification and operations, software maintenance, new software development, porting to an open architecture, database administration, and end user support.
